The WPT Asia Series is back on WPT Global with Overdrive, delivering 43 days of online tournament action and more than ¥200,000,000 in guaranteed winnings across the series.
Built around flagship ring tournaments, multi-flight championship formats, Daily Missions and weekly leaderboard payouts, Overdrive gives players multiple routes to value throughout the full campaign.
At the centre of the festival are 13 WPT Rings, with ring events split between marquee single-day highlights and phase-based championship paths. Players can enter through Day 1 flights, build a stack, and race to Day 2 for a shot at a WPT Ring title.

WPT Ring Overdrive
The flagship ring run features seven headline events, building from Ignition through to the Grand Prix Main Event.
The format creates a clear progression through the series: start early, accumulate momentum, and chase a major ring finish at the top end of the schedule.
WPT Ring MYSTER¥ Phase
Overdrive also includes multi-flight phase events, giving players repeatable opportunities to qualify through Day 1 and carry chips into Day 2.
For players who prefer staged formats, this structure adds flexibility and multiple entry windows while keeping ring prestige at the center of the series.
¥2,000,000 Overdrive Leaderboards
Every event can contribute to leaderboard progress. Players can earn points via tournament performance, Early Bird entries and bubble finishes, with standings updated daily and paid weekly.
The weekly distribution is:
Weeks 1–4: ¥300,000 each week
Weeks 5–6: ¥400,000 each week
¥2,100,000 Daily Missions
Daily Missions add another value track throughout the festival. By completing missions, players earn tickets into the Daily Final pathway.
Daily Finals run at 22:30 UTC+8 with ¥50,000 GTD each day, giving players 42 total opportunities to cash through this stream during the series.
