Main article content

Week 2 of the $50 challenge is live in the Universal Poker community on QuintAce. Play NLHE from 26 October to 1 November and the top seven players share $50 in ACR staking tickets.

The community and the challenge are for members only. This page covers what QuintAce is, how the scoring works and how to get in.

What QuintAce is

QuintAce is a poker study and training platform. A solver trained on trillions of hands does the maths, and a conversational AI explains the result. You play NLHE, PLO, Squid and more, then ask about any spot in plain English. Ask how well you played, what you should have done, or why one play beats another.

QuintAce wants advanced study to be open to every player, with insights that go beyond GTO alone. It is still free to use and in early access. The company behind it also builds fraud and bot-detection technology, which QuintAce says is used across close to 30% of the online poker-room industry. Our QuintAce partner page covers the platform in more detail.

The $50 challenge, week 2

The challenge is called Show Your NLHE Skills. Week 2 started on 26 October at 00:00 UTC and ends on 1 November at 23:59 UTC. Any member of the Universal Poker community can enter. When the week is over, the seven players at the top of the leaderboard share $50 in ACR staking tickets.

Week 1 ran from 19 to 25 October. If you finished in the top seven, contact Misha at Universal Poker to claim your ACR staking ticket.

You play NLHE in the Leagues tab and earn League Points (LP) for winning sessions. Your total LP sets your place on the leaderboard. A few rules apply:

  • Join the challenge before you play. Hands played before you join do not count.

  • Each session needs at least 30 hands.

  • You can play as many sessions as you want.

  • Every winning session earns League Points.

How League Points are worked out

A winning session earns LP equal to the square root of the big blinds you won. Win 100 big blinds in a single session and that is 10 LP. Win 25 big blinds in four separate sessions and that is 20 LP.

The square root is deliberate. One lucky heater counts for less, and steady winners climb faster.

How to get in

  1. Join the Universal Poker community on QuintAce.

  2. Open the challenge from the banner at the top of the community page (the View Details button) and join it before you play.

  3. Go to the Leagues tab and play NLHE sessions of at least 30 hands.

When the next challenge starts, we will post it here.
