Main article content

WPT Global has more players in the top 25 of online No Limit Hold'em cash game winners than any other room, according to the new Poker Ecology Report from AceGuardian, the company behind QuintAce. Eight of the 25 names on the list play on WPT Global, including the top two.

The report draws on 2.6 billion NLHE player-hands played between September 2020 and September 2026, and WPT Global supplies close to a billion of them, more than any other room. The dashboard compares six rooms: GGPoker, PokerStars, ACR/WPN, CoinPoker, WPT Global and Club WPT Gold. The winners leaderboard covers five of them. The authors describe the report as independent of poker operators, with the same definitions applied to every room and the methodology published next to the data. The full Industry Ecology Report is available on the QuintAce site.

huangyangliu leads the list with $5.31 million

huangyangliu tops the leaderboard with $5.31 million in net winnings after rake, earned over 702,743 hands and 817 active days. That is $7.55 per hand. Of the total, $2.42 million came from ring games and $2.89 million from heads-up play. biglucky88 is second with $2.46 million, ahead of CoinPoker's KayhanMok in third with $2.31 million. TyCobb7, another WPT Global player, is fourth with $2.06 million.

These are the eight WPT Global players in the all-room top 25:

Added up, the eight players come to about $15.1 million.

More winners, and winnings spread wider

The report also looks at how money is distributed inside each room. At WPT Global, 33.7% of players finished in profit, against 21.5% to 25.0% in the other four rooms. The room's top 25 hold less than a tenth of everything won there, while at CoinPoker the top 25 hold more than half. Even so, it takes $556,158 to reach 25th place at WPT Global, the highest cutoff of any room in the data.

Results built over hundreds of days

To see how much of each result depended on a few big sessions, the report removed every leaderboard player's five best days. Not one of WPT Global's top 25 drops below zero without them. For the median player, those five days make up 27.3% of the total, and the median player has 623 active days. Most of them play ring games, with a median of 5.4% of hands heads-up.

Winning players still lose often. Across all five rooms, between 43% and 47% of the top 25's active days were losing days.

Nine of the top ten win rates

Among players with at least 50,000 hands, WPT Global players hold nine of the ten highest win rates in the report. WPT Global games run with a straddle and an ante, so at the stakes most of its top players use, a hand starts with about 7 big blinds in the pot, against 1.5 in a standard two-blind game. To keep that from inflating the numbers, the report counts a straddled hand at twice the posted big blind. Only CoinPoker's Vanessa18, at 26.4 bb/100, ranks above the WPT Global group.

The busiest room at high stakes

A second report from the same team looks at high-stakes NLHE since GGPoker moved its biggest games behind private hosts in November 2024. By volume, WPT Global comes out on top. The room deals about 87,700 hands a month at ¥50/¥100/¥200 and above, more than ACR (about 61,200) or CoinPoker. The report notes that this is 45% below WPT Global's 2023 level, and that ¥50/¥100/¥200 is the one game growing, up 16% on 2025.

An eight-handed ¥50/¥100/¥200 table opens with ¥750, about $106, more than the $75 a $25/$50 table opens with, which is why the report counts it as high stakes. TyCobb7 is WPT Global's entry in the 2026 top ten winners, with $653,493 through July 27 from 58,134 hands, only 3.1% of them heads-up.

What is happening in the other rooms

CoinPoker's first high-stakes hand in the data is dated December 31, 2024, and by January 2026 it was dealing $2,500/$5,000, the highest public stakes in the data. This year it has dealt 9,031 hands above $200/$400, nearly twice every other room combined. On January 16, KayhanMok won $1,199,300 in 47 hands.

ACR's high-stakes traffic is up about 100% on 2025, to roughly 61,200 hands a month, and every month since March has beaten the same month of last year. In August it went above $200/$400 for the first time in the data, with hands at $300/$600 and $500/$1,000.

How the report was built

Figures for GGPoker, PokerStars, ACR/WPN and CoinPoker come from purchased hand-history samples, while WPT Global's come from the network's own records. All results are net of rake and do not include rewards or rakeback. Coverage differs by room and period, and the report publishes the gaps for each room in its methodology notes.
